Butyric Acid is a short chain fatty acid produced to for the benefit of natural 'helpful' bowel bacteria. It has shown to have a natural healing effect on gut tissue and also has a role in gut health and intestinal immune resistance generally.

This product has an extremely strong, sour pungent odour which is completely normal and is the natural smell of the ingredient combination.
